Ravanui Lucas, former Miss Tahiti, had the project in mind for a long time: regrouping her beautiful friends (some of the finest Polynesian women) to recreate some classic images inspired by the Vahines from the 60's.   With the help of friend and artistic director Heiarii Robson, Ravanui designed and organised each scene's stylism and accessories.  Nelson Labbey brought them to life. Make-up artist Orama Noble and Tehina Mou transformed the Polynesian beauties into real "60's stars" and hair stylists Maryse Utia and Cowan Brodien did an amazing job of re-creating some of the most classic 60's hair creations.

We hope the result will inspire you as much as it inspired us.

Here is a first glimpse of the new resort on Tetiaroa,  Marlon Brando's exclusive paradise.  35 high-end deluxe villas nestled in the heart of one of the atoll's motus. The astonishing beauty of this atoll seduced the actor while he was on the set of Mutiny on the Bounty in the sixties. After falling in love with his co-star, local beauty Tarita Teriipa, with whom he had two children, Marlon acquired this 5-mile-long island, one of Polynesia's richest marine reserves and bird sanctory. The resort is aiming to be an all inclusive eco-complex only accessible by private plane boasting a plunge pool, a beach bar, organic garden, library, and an environmental research station. The resort offers world-class cuisine with  three-star chef Guy Martin as well as the finest SPA treatments with the Varua Polynesian Spa (see following feature)...
